HV Installations: INDSS Ltd has worked on a wide range of private networks, providing high voltage cabling services, including High Voltage cable jointing & terminating, medium Voltage cable jointing and terminating and Low voltage cabling jointing and terminating ranging from 415V up to and including 33KV.

Our cable jointing team is fully qualified and experienced in many different types of HV cable jointing and terminating services across a variety of market sectors and industries.

They are fully trained to current safety regulations and receive manufacturer product training on a vast range of HV cables and their components.

They are accredited to work with Raychem, Tyco, Pfisterer, REPL, Nexams and 3M to name a few.

Our jointers use heat shrink or cold applied technology where possible, with the following combination of cable joints or terminations:

Straight through joints
Breach joints
Transition joints
Trouser or loop joints
Trifurcation joints
Trifurcating transition joints
Dissimilar sized combination joints
Straight forward heat or cold applied terminations.

HV Cable and LV Cable Testing

Examples of the testing undertaken during commissioning of new installations includes:

Insulation Resistance Tests
DC Pressure Testing
VLF Testing

Our specialist test equipment used to test the new installation or alteration to the existing installation is calibrated to BS EN ISO 10012: 2003 on an annual basis.

Cable Fault Location

INDSS Ltd can offer a service to attend site to investigate suspected cable faults. Fault finding on switchgear will be carried out to eliminate any faults before progressing to testing of the cable.
